Five floors up, above the coast road
The top of the block looks over the roofs to the water on one side and up the terraces on the other. It is the whole argument for this flat over one at the bottom of the same building.

About this property

Calheta is on the south-west coast, an hour or so round from Funchal, and it is the one town on that side with a proper beach: imported sand, a marina beside it, restaurants along the front and the sugar factory still working up the hill. The block stands above the coast road near Santa Casa da Misericórdia, five white storeys with the sea behind it, so the shops, the health centre and the water are all within a walk.

The flat is on the top floor and is let unfurnished, which the photographs make plain: parquet floors, white walls and green louvred shutters at every opening.
