Where in Madeira are your holiday rentals?
In Funchal and Paúl do Mar. Six of our nine homes are in Funchal, spread across the old town, Rua da Carreira, Avenida do Infante, the Lido and São Martinho. The other three are seafront stone houses in Paúl do Mar on the west coast, roughly an hour by car from Madeira Airport.
Is it cheaper to book direct than on Airbnb or Booking.com?

Should I stay in Funchal or Paúl do Mar?
Funchal if it is your first trip to Madeira. You get restaurants, the old town, the cable car and easy day trips by bus or hire car, so you can see a lot of the island without planning much. Paúl do Mar suits a second visit, or a trip built around the west coast: quiet, ocean swimming, surf and Atlantic sunsets, about an hour's drive from Madeira Airport. Plenty of guests split the week and do both.
When is the best time to visit Madeira?
Madeira is mild all year, roughly 17 to 25 °C, so there is no closed season. May to September is the warmest and driest stretch and the best for swimming. Spring brings the Flower Festival in Funchal, and the New Year fireworks over Funchal bay are the busiest few days of the year.
