Volta à Ilha Classic 2026
The “Volta à Ilha Classic” is a motorcycle touring event conceived and organized by the Gentleman’s Wheels Club. It is a non-competitive event intended for motorcycles that are at least 30 years old (built before 1996) as well as modern motorcycles with a classic/retro style. The event is divided into two categories: mopeds and motorcycles with an engine capacity of less than 125cc, and motorcycles with an engine capacity of 125cc or more, with separate routes for each category that converge at the lunch gathering on the 7th.
Due to logistical considerations, registrations are limited.
In both categories, the routes follow secondary roads, avoiding highways and prioritizing quieter roads with less traffic and greater local interaction.
The aim of the “Volta à Ilha Classic” is to provide participants with enjoyable moments of camaraderie and riding on their motorcycles, allowing them to meet others, explore, and enjoy the Island of Madeira from its tourist, gastronomic, cultural, scenic, architectural, and environmental perspectives.
A “Volta à Ilha Classic” é um evento mototurístico idealizado e organizado pelo Clube Gentleman’s Wheels Club, não competitivo, destinado a motos com idade mínima de construção de 30 anos (anteriores a 1996) e motas modernas de estilo clássico/retro. O evento subdivide-se em 2 categorias: Ciclomotores e motociclos de cilindrada inferior a 125cc e motociclos de cilindrada igual ou superior a 125cc, com percursos distintos para cada uma das categorias, que se cruzam no almoço do dia 7.
Por questões logísticas as inscrições são limitadas.
Em ambas as categorias, os percursos são feitos por estradas secundárias, evitando as vias-rápidas e privilegiando as estradas secundárias, menos movimentadas e o contato local.
A “Volta à Ilha Classic” tem como objetivo proporcionar aos participantes agradáveis momentos de convívio e de condução nas suas motos, permitindo-lhes conviver, conhecer e desfrutar da Ilha da Madeira na sua vertente turística, gastronómica, cultural, paisagística, arquitetónica e ambiental.
