Choka Sailing is a private charter rather than a seat on a tour boat: the whole yacht is yours, Mário Oliveira sails it along Madeira's south coast, and the only people aboard are the ones you brought. Family, friends or a special occasion.
About Choka Sailing
The boat is a Jeanneau with the company name across the bow, and Choka is Mário Oliveira himself, who signs the website that way. The business is registered with the national register of tourist entertainment agents, as licence 906/2024, and he takes private bookings only: the six places on board are yours whether you fill them or not, and there is no shared departure to join.
The sailing keeps to the south of the island, stopping to swim and snorkel at Calhau da Lapa, and dolphins, whales and turtles are what the boat watches for on the way. A bottle of white wine and seasonal fruit and snacks come with the trip. They ask you to bring a swimsuit, a beach towel, a jacket for the wind, sunscreen and shoes you can move about a deck in.
