Rali Vinho da Madeira 2026: Dates & Where to Watch
A round of the FIA European Rally Championship and one of Portugal's most prestigious rallies. It kicks off with a crowd-packed special stage right on Funchal's Avenida do Mar, then heads for the closed mountain roads, fast, technical and genuinely thrilling against Madeira's terraced scenery.
Roadside vantage points are free, the opening city stage sometimes has limited ticketed grandstand seating. Just be ready for road closures, build in extra time for any driving on rally days, especially inland.
Good to know: Free from roadside spots; check the organiser's official road-closure document and stage maps before driving. City-stage grandstand tickets, when offered, sell separately. Stages run across the island over three days.
