A plain bar on the fishermen's avenue at Paul do Mar, known in the village as O Poleiro. Plastic chairs, the sea a few metres away, poncha and mojitos, and a plate of lapas if you want one. It is where the village and the surfers end the day.
About Bar de Pedra
The name on the sign is Bar de Pedra and the name in the village is O Poleiro, and both get you to the same place: a low building on the Avenida dos Pescadores with its tables out on the front. Paul do Mar is a fishing village at the bottom of a long descent, so almost nobody arrives here by accident, and the room fills with the people who live in it and the surfers who came for the break.
